Founder & President

Guy Louthian is the Founder and President of Physician Services USA. A skilled veteran of the medical field for the past 34 years, Guy’s career has been concentrated in helping office-based healthcare providers solve their business revenue and cash management challenges.

An expert in Practice Revenue Enhancement and Revenue Cycle Management, Guy started Physician Services USA in 2002 due to the growing demand from health care providers for help in diagnosing and solving their practice cash flow issues.

Prior to founding Physician Services, Guy served as Chief Operating Officer for an emerging physician billing firm and as COO for a Durable Medical Equipment provider. He has performed every imaginable non-clinical duty in a healthcare practice—from working the front desk to taking out the trash.

Guy and his dedicated staff at Physician Services USA work with multiple physician practices across the nation in areas such as Practice Management, Revenue Cycle Management, Practice Consulting, and Software Training. He is a skilled and efficient expert at diagnosing and solving the cash management headaches that medical practices often encounter.

A graduate of Clemson University with a degree in business, Guy is married with 2 children. In his spare time enjoys spending time with his family, riding his Harley, and enthusiastically cheering for Clemson sports.

Shannon Strange

Chief Operating Officer

Shannon Strange joined Physician Services USA in 2008 as a Medical Billing Specialist. This experience enabled her to learn the complexities and challenges of dealing with insurance companies.

After distinguishing herself as a solid contributor, Shannon served as the Executive Administrative Assistant to our Founder and CEO, Guy Louthian in 2011. In this capacity, she learned successful company management principals and how to help Physicians manage the complex business side of their practices. 

Shannon became the Office Manager for PSUSA in 2013 and the COO in 2015. In this capacity, she utilizes her experience and skills to assist in the management of PSUSA’s company operations as well as all client accounts. 

Having experience in all areas of the company allows Shannon to assess the effectiveness of all business processes to assure PSUSA is operating at optimal efficiency while achieving key performance indicators. She is skilled in Medical Billing and Collections, Practice Management, Revenue Cycle Management, Credentialing and Practice Consulting. 

Shannon is a member of The Junior League of Columbia, an organization committed to improve communities through effective action and leadership. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys traveling with her husband Garet and spending time with family.

Julie Barnes

Director of Marketing

Julie Barnes serves as the Director of Marketing for Physician Services USA. She leads the strategic and tactical execution of corporate marketing programs in an effort to support our existing and future customers.

Before joining PSUSA, Julie worked in the insurance industry for 10 years. She has deep experience with life & health as well as property & casualty insurance. Julie has held a variety of important roles including supervising employees, developing and implementing software, editing user manuals, and training clients.

Julie received her Bachelor of Science in Management from Clemson University College of Business. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her 3 daughters.

Ashley Jeffcoat

Ashley Jeffcoat

Senior EHR/PM Trainer

Ashley Jeffcoat joined Physician Services USA in 2013. Prior to PSUSA, Ashley’s career encompassed 10+ years in the clinical and administrative areas within healthcare facilities.

 As a Senior EHR/PM Trainer at PSUSA, Ashley spends much of her time traveling throughout the USA training physicians and staff in support of the emerging electronic health record revolution.

As a certified trainer for the Health Fusion Meditouch software, Ashley has been very successful in converting physician practices from paper to electronic health records. She has also been instrumental in training new practice member physicians with the Health Fusion Meditouch software.

 In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with family, traveling and playing tennis.

Sandra Humphries

Sandra Humphries

Senior Project Manager

Sandra has been working in the medical field for over 15 years. She held a management position with a large cardiology group prior to joining PSUSA.

Proficient in medical coding as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Sandra has been using her experience and education to contribute to the success of PSUSA since 2008. As Sr. Project Manager at PSUSA, she is highly skilled in analyzing problems and finding solutions in a timely and efficient manner.

Sandra has additional credentialing including Rural Health Coding and Billing Specialist (RH-CBS), as well as Community Health Coding and Billing Specialist (CH-CBS).

Sandra is a member of the ARHPC (Association for Rural Health Professional coding), AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders), and Capital Coders where she serves as the Vice President. She is married, has 2 daughters and a son and enjoys camping in her free time.
