Guy Louthian
Founder & Chairman of the Board
With over 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Guy Louthian had dedicated his career to helping physician practices strengthen financial performance and navigate the complexities of revenue cycle management. His expertise lies in identifying operational challenges and implementing practical solutions that improve cash flow and long-term stability.
Prior to the founding of Physician Services USA in 2002, Guy served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for both a physician billing organization and a Durable Medical Equipment provider, gaining broad experience across multiple facets of healthcare operations.
As a recognized leader in practice revenue enhancement, Guy established Physician Services USA to meet the growing need for strategic, results-driven support for healthcare providers. Today, the organization partners with practices nationwide, delivering services in revenue cycle management, practice operations, consulting, and system optimization.
Guy remains actively involved in the organization, contributing to key decisions and continuing to support practice performance. He enjoys working closely with healthcare organizations to improve workflows through consulting and operational analysis.
A graduate of Clemson University with a degree in business, Guy places a strong value on family. He has been married for 38 years and is a proud father and grandfather, enjoying time with his children and grandchildren whenever possible. Outside of work, he also enjoys riding his Harley and supporting Clemson athletics.

Shannon Strange
Chief Executive Officer
Shannon Strange serves as Chief Executive Officer of Physician Services USA (PSUSA), where she leads the company's strategic direction, operational performance, and long-term growth initiatives. She assumed the role of CEO in January 2026 following a progressive leadership path within the organization.
Shannon began her career with PSUSA in 2008 while attending the University of South Carolina, starting as a Medical Billing Specialist. She was promoted to Office Manager in 2013 and Chief Operating Officer in 2015, gaining extensive experience in operational leadership and organizational development.
During her time as COO, Shannon led operational strategy and scalability efforts, playing a key role in doubling the size of the organization. Her leadership has been instrumental in building a strong operational foundation and positioning the company for continued growth.
In her current role as CEO, Shannon is focused on strengthening client partnerships, advancing innovation through technology and AI-driven solutions, and fostering a culture centered on performance and accountability-anchored by the belief that excellence is the standard. She works closely with Founder and Chairman Guy Louthian to ensure continuity of vision while advancing the company's strategic growth and innovation initiatives.
Shannon is committed to supporting physician practices through efficient, compliant, and results-driven revenue cycle management. She is equally passionate about developing high-performing teams and building systems that deliver measurable, sustainable outcomes.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Shannon enjoys traveling with her husband, Garet, spending time with their four children, and their Boykin Spaniel, Tucker.
Da'Kia Pringle
REVENUE CYCLE MANAGER
Da'Kia serves as a Revenue Cycle Manager at Physician Services USA, where she leads multi-client billing operations with a focus on performance, accountability, and sustainable growth. She joined the organization in 2021 as a Medical Billing Specialist and has since advanced through leadership roles, bringing a strategic mindset to revenue cycle management that combines data-driven decision-making with hands-on leadership to improve financial outcomes and streamline complex processes.
Known for her ability to quickly identify operational gaps, Da'Kia partners closely with both clients and internal teams to resolve challenges ranging from aging accounts receivable to workflow inefficiencies. Her leadership style emphasizes clarity, consistency, and team development, helping staff operate at a higher level while maintaining strong client relationships. She recognizes that efficient operations play a key role in enabling providers to focus on delivering quality patient care.
Da'Kia holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from College of Charleston and dual Master's degrees in Healthcare Administration and Business Administration. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration, where her research focuses on addressing healthcare disparities among individuals with chronic diseases by identifying barriers in healthcare delivery and supporting more equitable care outcomes.
She is passionate about creating structure in fast-paced environments, developing future leaders, and driving meaningful improvements in the healthcare revenue cycle.
Outside of her professional role, Da'Kia enjoys exploring creative projects, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
Meagan Arant CPC
OPERATIONS ANALYST
Meagan began her career at PSUSA in 2013 as an extern, completing both a Medical Billing and Coding Diploma and the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification. With a strong background in revenue cycle management and healthcare operations, she has consistently advanced within the organization, taking on leadership roles as the company has grown.
Now serving as an Operations Analyst, Meagan leverages her analytical skills to optimize processes, support strategic initiatives, and provide data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency. Her deep expertise in FQHC and RHC program management continues to inform her approach to solving complex challenges.
Meagan's commitment to professional development is demonstrated by her certifications in the medical industry. She has also earned LinkedIn Learning certificates in Excel for Business Analysts, Lean Six Sigma Foundations, and SQL Essential Training, further strengthening her expertise in data analytics, process optimization, and operational efficiency.
Outside of work, Meagan enjoys spending time with her family, tackling creative DIY projects, and continuously expanding her knowledge in her field.
Sandra Humphries CPC, CH-CBS, RH-CBS
PRIVATE SETTING TEAM LEAD
Sandra joined PSUSA in 2008, bringing over 15 years of management experience in the medical field. Sandra currently serves as a Private Setting Team Lead to multiple Medical Billing Specialists within the company that manage the billing for clients throughout the country.
Sandra holds multiple certifications to includes, Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Rural Health Coding and Billing Specialist (RH-CBS), as well as Community Health Coding and Billing Specialist (CH-CBS). In addition, Sandra is a member of the ARHPC (Association for Rural Health Professional coding), AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders), and Capital Coders where she serves as the Vice President.
She is married, has two daughters and a son and enjoys camping in her free time.
Veronica Ayer
PRIVATE SETTING TEAM LEAD
Veronica has been an integral part of Physician Services since April 2016, starting as a Medical Billing Specialist and advancing to her current role as Private Setting Team Lead. With over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge in medical billing, client support, and leadership.
Before stepping into her leadership role, Veronica specialized in billing services for private groups, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional client service. Her career spans various healthcare settings, including doctors' offices and medical organizations.
Veronica's expertise, dedication, and leadership make her an invaluable asset to Physician Services. She takes pride in fostering a strong, supportive team while maintaining the high standards that contribute to the company's ongoing success.
Outside of work, Veronica values time with her two boys, friends, and family. She has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys relaxing by the lake or river, and embracing nature.
Alex Dopart
PRIVATE SETTING TEAM LEAD
Alex Dopart serves as the Private Team Lead, where she oversees the billing and accounts receivable processes for Physician Services. In this role, she supports clients in achieving optimized financial performance through accurate claims processing, regulatory compliance, and strategic reimbursement solutions.
With extensive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, Alex brings a strong understanding of complex insurance reimbursement structures. Her focus on process improvement and team leadership supports the delivery of high-quality, client-focused billing services. As a bilingual professional, she is also able to effectively support and communicate with a diverse client base.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with her two girls, as well as family and friends.
Kelly Hamilton
FQHC TEAM LEAD
Kelly joined PSUSA in 2019 as a Medical Billing Specialist within a FQHC setting. She quickly transitioned into a FQHC Team Lead role for a FQHC located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She is dedicated to building a strong team of knowledgeable billers along with providing the support needed to her team.
Kelly has over 10 years of medical billing experience and holds an associate degree in Medical Billing and Coding from the Ultimate Medical Academy. Prior to joining PSUSA, Kelly worked as an account analyst for a large company that specialized in hospital billing. She has extensive knowledge in revenue cycle management and the policies and procedures specific to billing for a FQHC.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her three kids, reading a good book, traveling to the beach, and supporting her Clemson Tigers.
Amy Kreps
FQHC TEAM LEAD
Since joining PSUSA in May 2017, Amy has supported a diverse portfolio of clients with their operational needs, with a primary focus on billing functions and staff education. In May 2022, she was promoted to Private Setting Team Lead, where she played a key role in client training, employee development, process improvement initiatives, and reporting analytics. In January 2024, Amy transitioned to the role of FQHC Team Lead, where she continues to perform these same responsibilities.
Amy began her career in the healthcare industry in 2003 and brings over 20 years of experience to the organization. Prior to joining Physician Services, she built a strong foundation in insurance operations through various roles with large insurance companies, including claims reimbursement and processing, appeals coordination, and customer service. She further expanded her expertise in billing and client services while working for a global accounts receivable corporation, where she advanced to the role of Assistant Manager. In this capacity, Amy oversaw operations for multiple high-volume hospital client projects and managed a testing center supporting system integrations and upgrades.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Amy enjoys traveling to visit family and friends and attending live music events at new venues.
Shannon Hale
CREDENTIALING TEAM LEAD
Shannon joined the team in 2015 as a Medical Billing Specialist, quickly becoming a key contributor to the team for over nine years. In 2023, she transitioned into the role of Credentialing Specialist, where she managed provider credentialing for a large multi-provider practice and supported various credentialing needs across the company. Her dedication and expertise led to her promotion to Credentialing Team Lead in 2024.
Before joining Physician Services, Shannon worked for several years with an Orthopedic Surgeon, where she gained valuable experience in the medical field. This role provided her with a strong foundation in healthcare administration and deepened her understanding of medical practice operations.
Outside of work, Shannon enjoys traveling, live music, and spending time with family - especially on the water. An avid boater, reader, and writer, she has a passion for crafting screenplays and songs. She also has experience in the film industry, having worked as a screen actor in movies and drama series.
